“The only thing I love better than talking about food, is eating.”

— John Walter

I love food and I love a glass of wine. I also understand that there needs to be balance. My aim as a Nutritional Therapist is not to put you on a radical and unrealistic path to failure. It’s to work within your capabilities to make a positive and very real difference to your health and to achieve your nutritional goals for life.

My previous career was in Publishing and then PR and Marketing in the Health & Beauty industry in both London and New York. After taking time out to have my four children, I saw how the industry had shifted and evolved to encompass a much more multi-faceted approach to wellbeing that incorporated nutrition.

I have always been interested in nutrition, but it was the diagnosis of cancer as well as epilepsy in my immediate family that lead me to look at what else people can do to support their health alongside conventional medicine. However, it was difficult to navigate the right information, so I decided to embark on a 3-year qualification to become a Nutritional Therapist.

After a year of studying Biomedicine, I immersed myself in the scientific and clinic-based nutrition course at CNM in London. This gave me the knowledge and experience to become the registered Nutritional Practitioner that I am today.

I found myself being drawn towards the issues that I saw most commonly in clinic. I have watched people’s lives be transformed by being given the right nutritional advice. This could be through further investigation via clinical lab testing or just through simple adjustments to nutrition, supplementation or lifestyle. Either way, the results can be life-changing.
